The Voting Rights Act survived Bull Connor. It didn’t survive John Roberts.

This ruling is heartbreaking. After years of struggle to gain acceptance, craft the language that both Parties agree on and pass the legislation, six unelected Judges decide differently. I would call them activist judges, terminology Republicans often use for lower court judges who rule against them. But not in this case. We need court reform.
